Webinar “The Fair and Equitable Treatment (FET) Standard and Tax Measures” – 6 December between 14.00 and 16.00 CET

Dear Colleagues,

After the successful 2 webinars of our webinar series on the “Role of Investment Arbitration in Tax Disputes” , we are now pleased to invite you to last session on

“The Fair and Equitable Treatment (FET) Standard and Tax Measures”

On 6 December between 14.00 and 16.00 CET, we will address the interplay between the fair and equitable treatment (FET) standard under international investment agreements with taxation measures. Drawing in particular on the award in Cairn Energy v. India, the speakers and panelists will discuss the standard’s impact on domestic and international taxation measures and policy, as well as on tax-related disputes.

Bringing together leading professionals and academics from both the investment law and tax law world, this webinar series aims at providing a neutral forum to discuss the most relevant issues involving international investment arbitration and tax disputes as well as ongoing reforms in this area.

We look very much forward to welcoming you virtually at the University of Lausanne.
